These terms cover the Peekhook demo service. By creating an account or using the public endpoint you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
Peekhook receives HTTP requests at URLs you create and stores them so you can inspect, share and (on Pro) replay them. The service is provided as-is for evaluation and development. It is not designed for regulated data, payment card data, protected health information or anything you cannot afford to lose.
Accounts and acceptable use
- You are responsible for the security of your account and endpoint URLs. Anyone with an endpoint URL can send data to it.
- Do not use Peekhook to receive illegal content, to attack third parties, or to evade rate limits or access controls.
- Do not use replay to probe networks you do not own or have permission to test. Replay blocks private ranges but you remain responsible for your targets.
- We may rate-limit, suspend or delete endpoints that abuse the service or endanger its operation.
Plans, trials and billing
The Free plan includes two endpoints, 200 requests per month and 24-hour retention. Pro is $12 per month or $115 per year after a 7-day free trial, billed through Stripe. Prices are in USD. You can cancel any time from the billing portal; access continues until the end of the paid period. Usage limits are enforced automatically.
Demo build: Stripe runs in test mode. No real money moves. Test card 4242 4242 4242 4242 can be used at checkout.
Data and availability
You retain ownership of the webhook data you send or collect. You grant us permission to store and process it solely to operate the service. Retention limits apply. We aim for high availability but do not promise uninterrupted service, and captures can be lost. Do not make Peekhook the only copy of anything important.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranties, and our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior three months (or $10 for free accounts). We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost revenue or lost data.
Changes and termination
We may update these terms or the product. Material changes will be noted on this page. You can stop using the service at any time and request deletion of your data by emailing hello@peekhook.dev.
